Abstract

It has been observed in many animals, but the true incidence of cyclopia in not known, and s3 far faw case of true cyclopia have been rep rte3 in human.
s report a case of rare perfert cyclopia in human which was found in Merida, a in 1976. In the case, the eye has single cornea, pupil and lens in the single orbit oscis just above the eve. The etiology of cyclopia Las given rise to much speculation cion dating from the emergence of ophthalmology and today the matter cannot be said led.
rs consider this malformity to be due to noxious environment factors rather retic factors.
irther information about human cyclopia, in an attempt to reduce the appear￢e, authors suggest that organization of monitoring system on tie congenital rations should be set up worldwidely.
